AD/A109/15 - Modification of Overhead Console Relay Boards - CANCELLED

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/A109/15. Agusta A109 Series Helicopters AD/A109/15 Mod ification of Overhead Console Relay Boards 9/2009 Requirement: CANCELLED. This AD is cancelled on 27 August 2009. Background: This unique Australian AD raised in1989 against Augusta Bollettino Technico 109-73 required a modification of overhead console relay board assemblies to improve electrical compatibility with generator control box (GCB). Compliance was on replacement of GCU box in accordance with the requirement document, but in any case, prior to 26 January 1990. This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected helicopters to have been modified by now; therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required.
