No. 135/2017 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Adoption Regulations 2008) Extension Regulations 2017 The Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister for Families and Children, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 19 December 2017 Responsible Minister: JENNY MIKAKOS Minister for Families and Children ANDREW ROBINSON Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Adoption Regulations 2008, which would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5(1) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994, for the period specified in regulation 3. 2 Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5A and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. 3 Extension of operation The operation of the Adoption Regulations 2008 1 is extended for the period beginning on 26 February 2018 and ending on 25 February 2019. -- 2 of 4 -- Subordinate Legislation (Adoption Regulations 2008) Extension Regulations 2017 S.R.
