No. 77/2016 Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 Liquor Control Reform (Wholesale Liquor Supply Information) Amendment Regulations 2016 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 28 June 2016 Responsible Minister: MARLENE KAIROUZ Minister for Consumer Affairs, Gaming and Liquor Regulation ANDREW ROBINSON Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Liquor Control Reform (Wholesale Liquor Supply Information) Regulations 2015 to make further provision for the volume of containers of wine and fortified wine to which reporting requirements under Division 10 of Part 2 of the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 apply. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 180 of the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998. 3 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2016. -- 2 of 4 -- Liquor Control Reform (Wholesale Liquor Supply Information) Amendment Regulations 2016 S.R. No. 77/2016 Authorised by the Chief Parliamentary Counsel 2 4 New definitions of large container and small container In regulation 4 of the Liquor Control Reform (Wholesale Liquor Supply Information) Regulations 2015 1 — (a) the definitions of bottle and cask are revoked; (b) insert the following definitions— "large container means a container with a capacity of 2 litres or more but not exceeding 20 litres; small container means a container with a capacity of less than 2 litres;". 5 Additional information for the definition of wholesale liquor supply information In regulation 5(e) of the Liquor Control Reform (Wholesale Liquor Supply Information) Regulations 2015, for "bottle, in a cask" substitute "small container, a large container". ═══════════════ -- 3 of 4 -- Endnotes Liquor Control Reform (Wholesale Liquor Supply Information) Amendment Regulations 2016 S.R.
