Extension Regulations 2016
The Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the
Minister for Consumer Affairs, Gaming and Liquor
Regulation, makes the following Regulations:

1 Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to extend
the operation of the Retirement Villages
(Contractual Arrangements) Regulations 2006,
which would otherwise be revoked by virtue of
section 5(1) of the Subordinate Legislation
Act 1994, for the period specified in regulation 3.
2 Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under sections 5A
and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.

3 Extension of operation
The operation of the Retirement Villages
(Contractual Arrangements) Regulations 2006 1
is extended for the period beginning on
1 August 2016 and ending on 31 July 2017.
4 Expiry
These Regulations expire on 1 August 2017.
