No. 40/2016 Tobacco Act 1987 Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Amendment Regulations 2016 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 3 May 2016 Responsible Minister: JILL HENNESSY Minister for Health ANDREW ROBINSON Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Regulations 2011 to provide for the appointment of a new member of the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 43 of the Tobacco Act 1987. 3 Principal Regulations In these Regulations, the Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Regulations 20111 are called the Principal Regulations. -- 2 of 4 -- Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Amendment Regulations 2016 S.R. No. 40/2016 Authorised by the Chief Parliamentary Counsel 2 4 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 3 May 2016. 5 Appointment of members of Foundation (1) For regulation 5(1)(c)(i) of the Principal Regulations substitute— "(i) Ms Sarah Ralph; and". (2) For regulation 5(5) of the Principal Regulations substitute— "(5) The appointment under subregulation (1)(c)(ii) is for the period commencing on 10 November 2015 and ending on 9 November 2018.". (3) After regulation 5(8) of the Principal Regulations insert— "(9) The appointment under subregulation (1)(c)(i) is for the period commencing on 3 May 2016 and ending on 2 May 2019.". ═══════════════ -- 3 of 4 -- Endnotes Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Amendment Regulations 2016 S.R.
