No. 155/2016 Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) Act 1983 Transport (Ticketing) Amendment (On-the-Spot Penalty Fares Revocation) Regulations 2016 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 20 December 2016 Responsible Minister: JACINTA ALLAN Minister for Public Transport ANDREW ROBINSON Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Transport (Ticketing) Regulations 2006 to revoke the provisions of those Regulations relating to on-the-spot penalty tickets, on-the-spot penalty ticket offences and on-the-spot penalty fares. 2 Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 221AA and 256 of the Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) Act 1983. 3 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2017. -- 2 of 4 -- Transport (Ticketing) Amendment (On-the-Spot Penalty Fares Revocation) Regulations 2016 S.R.
