No. 8/2015 Building Act 1993 Building Amendment (Siting Requirements) Regulations 2015 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 10 February 2015 Responsible Minister: RICHARD WYNNE Minister for Planning YVETTE CARISBROOKE Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Building Regulations 2006 to update the zones of planning schemes which provide different siting requirements to the siting requirements in those Regulations. 2 Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 7, 9, 261 and 262 of, and Schedule 1 to, the Building Act 1993. 3 Principal Regulations In these Regulations, the Building Regulations 20061 are called the Principal Regulations. No. 8/2015 4 Amendment of Schedule 5—Planning schemes (1) After item 2 in Schedule 5 to the Principal Regulations insert— "2AA Brimbank Planning Scheme Residential Growth Zone (RGZ) Neighbourhood Residential Zone (NRZ)". (2) For item 3A in Schedule 5 to the Principal Regulations substitute— "3A Darebin Planning Scheme General Residential Zone (GRZ) Neighbourhood Residential Zone (NRZ)". (3) After item 5 in Schedule 5 to the Principal Regulations insert— "5AA Greater Geelong Planning Scheme Residential Growth Zone (RGZ) General Residential Zone (GRZ) Neighbourhood Residential Zone (NRZ)".
