No. 162/2015 County Court Act 1958 County Court (Chapter I Circuit Fees, Expenses and Allowances Amendment) Rules 2015 A majority of the Judges of the County Court makes the following Rules: 1 Object The object of these Rules is to amend Chapter I of the Rules of the County Court— (a) to provide for an increase in the following— (i) the circuit fees in Schedule 1 to those Rules; (ii) the witnesses' expenses and interpreters' allowances in Schedule 2 to those Rules; and (b) to clarify the rate at which the circuit fees apply. 2 Authorising provisions These Rules are made under section 78 of the County Court Act 1958 and all other enabling powers. 3 Commencement These Rules come into operation on 1 January 2016. 4 Principal Rules In these Rules, the County Court Civil Procedure Rules 20081 are called the Principal Rules. -- 2 of 6 -- County Court (Chapter I Circuit Fees, Expenses and Allowances Amendment) Rules 2015 S.R. (2) In clause 1(2) of Schedule 2 to the Principal Rules, for "$375.00" substitute "$380.00". (3) In clause 1(2) and (3) of Schedule 2 to the Principal Rules, for "$674.00" substitute "$683.00".
