No. 141/2015 Mental Health Act 2014 Mental Health Amendment Regulations 2015 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 24 November 2015 Responsible Minister: MARTIN FOLEY Minister for Mental Health ANDREW ROBINSON Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Mental Health Regulations 2014 to prescribe the Independent Mental Health Advocacy service as a body in respect of which a direction to restrict an inpatient's right to communicate cannot be given under the Mental Health Act 2014. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 370 of the Mental Health Act 2014. 3 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 25 November 2015. -- 2 of 4 -- Mental Health Amendment Regulations 2015 S.R.
