No. 151/2015 Non-Emergency Patient Transport Act 2003 Non-Emergency Patient Transport Amendment Regulations 2015 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 8 December 2015 Responsible Minister: JILL HENNESSY Minister for Health ANDREW ROBINSON Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Non-Emergency Patient Transport Regulations 2005 to remove references to clinical practice protocols. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 64 of the Non-Emergency Patient Transport Act 2003. 3 Principal Regulations In these Regulations, the Non-Emergency Patient Transport Regulations 20051 are called the Principal Regulations. -- 2 of 4 -- Non-Emergency Patient Transport Amendment Regulations 2015 S.R. No. 151/2015 2 Authorised by the Chief Parliamentary Counsel 4 Definitions (1) In regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations, the definition of clinical practice protocols is revoked. (2) In regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations, for the definition of management substitute— "management, in relation to the treatment of a patient, includes the administration of those drugs that may be administered by staff involved in treating the patient and other general treatment not including intervention;". 5 Skills maintenance training For regulation 24(1)(c) of the Principal Regulations substitute— "(c) clinical practice.". 6 Clinical practice protocols Regulation 55 of the Principal Regulations is revoked. ═══════════════ -- 3 of 4 -- Endnotes Non-Emergency Patient Transport Amendment Regulations 2015 S.R.
