No. 78/2015 Road Safety Act 1986 Road Safety (Drivers) Amendment (Renewal Fees) Interim Regulations 2015 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 23 June 2015 Responsible Minister: LUKE DONNELLAN Minister for Roads and Road Safety YVETTE CARISBROOKE Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 2009 to limit the circumstances in which a person will be eligible for reduced driver licence renewal fees. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986. 3 Commencement (1) These Regulations (except regulation 5) come into operation on 25 June 2015. No. 78/2015 2 Authorised by the Chief Parliamentary Counsel 4 Revocation The Road Safety (Drivers) Amendment (Renewal Fees) Interim Regulations 2014 1 are revoked. 5 Revocation of amendments In regulation 107 of the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 20092 , in the definition of eligible person— (a) in paragraph (b) for "driver licence; and" substitute "driver licence;"; and (b) paragraph (c) is revoked. 6 Expiry These Regulations expire on 24 June 2016. ═══════════════ -- 3 of 4 -- Endnotes Road Safety (Drivers) Amendment (Renewal Fees) Interim Regulations 2015 S.R.
