County Court Act 1958
County Court (Chapter I Circuit Fees, Expenses
and Allowances Amendment) Rules 2014
A majority of the Judges of the County Court makes the
following Rules:
1 Object
The object of these Rules is to amend Chapter I of
the Rules of the County Court to provide for an
increase in the circuit fees in Schedule 1 and in
the witnesses' expenses and interpreters'
allowances in Schedule 2 to those Rules.
2 Authorising provisions
These Rules are made under section 78 of the
County Court Act 1958 and all other enabling
powers.
3 Commencement
These Rules come into operation on 1 January
2015.
4 Principal Rules
In these Rules, the County Court Civil Procedure
Rules 20081 are called the Principal Rules.

(1) In clause 1(1) of Schedule 2 to the Principal Rules
Rules 2008—
(a) for "$175.00–$352.00" substitute "$180.00–
$362.00";
(b) for "$2189.00" substitute "$2248.00".
(2) In clause 1(2) of Schedule 2 to the Principal Rules
for "$365.00" substitute "$375.00".
