No. 95/2014 Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act 1981 Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances (Poppy Cultivation and Processing) Amendment Regulations 2014 The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 8 July 2014 Responsible Minister: PETER WALSH Minister for Agriculture and Food Security YVETTE CARISBROOKE Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances (Poppy Cultivation and Processing) Regulations 2014 to prescribe certain offences to be infringement offences within the meaning of the Infringements Act 2006. 2 Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 69V and 132 of the Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act 1981. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 95/2014 Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances (Poppy Cultivation and Processing) Amendment Regulations 2014 2 Authorised by the Chief Parliamentary Counsel 3 Principal Regulations In these Regulations, the Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances (Poppy Cultivation and Processing) Regulations 2014 1 are called the Principal Regulations. 4 Schedule 2—amended (1) In item 1 of Schedule 2 to the Principal Regulations in Column 1, for "Section 69SB(2)(a)" substitute "Section 69SB(1) in relation to the information specified in section 69SB(2)(a)". (2) In item 2 of Schedule 2 to the Principal Regulations in Column 1, for "Section 69SB(2)(b)" substitute "Section 69SB(1) in relation to the information specified in section 69SB(2)(b)". (3) In item 3 of Schedule 2 to the Principal Regulations in Column 1, for "Section 69SB(2)(f)" substitute "Section 69SB(1) in relation to the information specified in section 69SB(2)(f)". ═══════════════ r. 3 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
