No. 121/2014 Magistrates' Court Act 1989 Magistrates' Court Criminal Procedure (Infringement Court Venue Amendment) Rules 2014 The Chief Magistrate together with 2 Deputy Chief Magistrates jointly make the following Rules: 1 Object The object of these Rules is to amend the Magistrates' Court Criminal Procedure Rules 2009 to change the venue of the Court at which any proceeding or class of proceeding or procedure set out in the Infringements Act 2006 is to be brought. 2 Authorising provisions These Rules are made under section 16 of the Magistrates' Court Act 1989 and all other enabling powers. 3 Commencement These Rules come into operation on 29 September 2014. 4 Infringements Court In Rule 94 of the Magistrates' Court Criminal Procedure Rules 20091 , for "444 Swanston Street Carlton" substitute "121 Exhibition Street Melbourne". -- 2 of 4 -- S.R.
