No. 166/2014 Parliamentary Salaries and Superannuation Act 1968 Parliamentary Salaries and Superannuation (Allowances) Amendment Regulations 2014 The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 14 October 2014 Responsible Minister: DENIS NAPTHINE Premier YVETTE CARISBROOKE Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Parliamentary Salaries and Superannuation (Allowances) Regulations 2013 to provide for the electoral districts and electoral regions as notified in the Government Gazette (No. S 365) published on 18 October 2013 under the Electoral Boundaries Commission Act 1982. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 8 of the Parliamentary Salaries and Superannuation Act 1968. 3 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 29 November 2014. -- 2 of 9 -- S.R. No. 166/2014 Parliamentary Salaries and Superannuation (Allowances) Amendment Regulations 2014 2 Authorised by the Chief Parliamentary Counsel 4 New regulation 14 inserted After regulation 13 of the Parliamentary Salaries and Superannuation (Allowances) Regulations 20131 insert— "14 Savings provision A member to whom section 7(6) of the Parliamentary Salaries and Superannuation Act 1968 applies continues to be entitled to any allowances payable to that member under these Regulations as in force immediately before 29 November 2014.". 5 Schedules 1 to 5 substituted For Schedules 1 to 5 to the Parliamentary Salaries and Superannuation (Allowances) Regulations 2013 substitute— "SCHEDULE 1 ELECTORATES OF LESS THAN 500 SQUARE KILOMETRES (a) The following electoral districts for the Legislative Assembly as notified in the Government Gazette (No. S 365) published on 18 October 2013 as required under the Electoral Boundaries Commission Act 1982— Albert Park Altona Bayswater Bellarine Bentleigh Box Hill Brighton r. 4 -- 3 of 9 -- S.R.
