Road Safety (Drivers) and (Vehicles) Amendment
(Fees) Regulations 2014
The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the
advice of the Executive Council makes the following
Regulations:

PART 1—PRELIMINARY
1 Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to amend the
Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 2009 and the
Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 2009 to
increase certain fees payable under the Road
Safety Act 1986.
2 Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 95 of
the Road Safety Act 1986.

3 Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on 1 July
2014.

Regulations 2009 1 —
(a) in item 1, for "$8.70" substitute "$8.90";
(b) in item 2, for "$8.70" substitute "$8.90";
(c) in item 4, for "$8.70" substitute "$8.90";
(d) in item 5(a), for "$8.70" substitute "$8.90".

registration
In the Table in Schedule 3 to the Road Safety
(Vehicles) Regulations 20092 , in Column 2 of
item 2, for "$8.20" substitute "$8.40".
6 Miscellaneous fees
In Schedule 5 to the Road Safety (Vehicles)
Regulations 2009—
(a) in Column 4 of item 11, for "$3.50"
substitute "$3.60";
(b) in Column 4 of item 13(d), for "$5.90"
substitute "$6.00".
7 Search and extract fees—written off vehicles
In Schedule 6 to the Road Safety (Vehicles)
Regulations 2009—
(a) in item 1, for "$8.70" substitute "$8.90";
(b) in item 2, for "$8.70" substitute " $8.90";
(c) in item 4, for "$8.70" substitute " $8.90";
