No. 67/2014 Road Safety Act 1986 Road Safety (General) Amendment (Corporate Penalties) Regulations 2014 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 17 June 2014 Responsible Minister: TERRY MULDER Minister for Roads YVETTE CARISBROOKE Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe infringement penalties that apply to certain operator onus offences following the enactment of the Road Safety Amendment (Operator Onus) Act 2012. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986. 3 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2014. 4 Principal Regulations In these Regulations, the Road Safety (General) Regulations 2009 1 are called the Principal Regulations. -- 2 of 10 -- S.R. (2) After item 2 of Schedule 7 to the Principal Regulations, insert— "2A 1956 Exceed speed limit in a heavy vehicle by 10 km per hour or more but less than 15 km per hour (body corporate) RR 20 20 penalty units". (3) After item 3 of Schedule 7 to the Principal Regulations, insert— "3A 1957 Exceed speed limit in a heavy vehicle by 15 km per hour or more but less than 25 km per hour (body corporate) RR 20 20 penalty units".
