No. 33/2014 Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) Act 1983 Transport (Conduct) Further Amendment Regulations 2014 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 13 May 2014 Responsible Minister: TERRY MULDER Minister for Public Transport CHIARA EDWARDS Acting Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Transport (Conduct) Regulations 2005 as a consequence of the application of the Rail Safety National Law (Victoria). 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 56 of the Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) Act 1983. 3 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 19 May 2014. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 33/2014 Transport (Conduct) Further Amendment Regulations 2014 2 Authorised by the Chief Parliamentary Counsel 4 Smoking In regulation 24A(5) of the Transport (Conduct) Regulations 2005 1 , in the definition of rolling stock, for "Rail Safety Act 2006" substitute "Rail Safety (Local Operations) Act 2006 or the Rail Safety National Law (Victoria)". ═══════════════ r. 4 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
