No. 71/2014 Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation (Savings and Transitional) Regulations 2014 The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 24 June 2014 Responsible Minister: GORDON RICH-PHILLIPS Assistant Treasurer YVETTE CARISBROOKE Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to continue the operation of statutory instruments made under the Accident Compensation Act 1985. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 621 of the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013. 3 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2014. 4 Expiration These Regulations expire on 1 July 2016. -- 2 of 6 -- S.R. No. 71/2014 Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation (Savings and Transitional) Regulations 2014 2 Authorised by the Chief Parliamentary Counsel 5 Continued operation of statutory instruments made under the Accident Compensation Act 1985 A statutory instrument made under the Accident Compensation Act 1985 and specified in column 1 of the table to this regulation is deemed to apply for the purposes of the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013, as if it had been made under the provision or provisions of that Act specified in the corresponding row of column 2 of the table.
