No. 161/2013 Building Act 1993 Building Amendment (Walls and Carports on Boundaries) Regulations 2013 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 10 December 2013 Responsible Minister: MATTHEW GUY Minister for Planning YVETTE CARISBROOKE Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Building Regulations 2006 to provide further for the construction of walls and carports on boundaries. 2 Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 7, 261 and 262 of the Building Act 1993. 3 Walls and carports on boundaries (1) In the heading to regulation 415 of the Building Regulations 2006 1 , after "Walls" insert "and carports". (2) In regulation 415 of the Building Regulations 2006, for "150mm" (wherever occurring) substitute "200mm". -- 2 of 4 -- S.R.
