Infringements (General) Amendment (Lodgeable
Infringement Offences) Regulations 2013
The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the
advice of the Executive Council makes the following
Regulations:

1 Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to amend the
Infringements (General) Regulations 2006 to—
(a) prescribe certain infringement offences
under the Catchment and Land Protection
Act 1994 and the Heavy Vehicle National
Law (Victoria) as lodgeable infringement
offences for the purposes of the
Infringements Act 2006; and
(b) omit references to certain redundant offences
and legislation.
2 Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 168 of
the Infringements Act 2006.

3 Commencement
(1) These Regulations (except regulations 5 and 10)
come into operation on the day on which they are
made.
(2) Regulations 5 and 10 come into operation on the
day on which section 4 of the Heavy Vehicle
National Law Application Act 2013 comes into
operation.
4 Principal Regulations
In these Regulations, the Infringements (General)
Regulations 2006 1 are called the Principal
Regulations.
5 New regulation 12B inserted
After regulation 12A of the Principal Regulations
insert—
"12B National law lodgeable infringement
offences prescribed
An offence against an Act, regulation or
other instrument listed in an item in
Schedule 4A is a lodgeable infringement
offence for the purposes of enforcement
under the Act.".
6 Schedule 3 amended
(1) Item 4.26 of Schedule 3 to the Principal
Regulations is revoked.
(2) Item 6B of Schedule 3 to the Principal
Regulations is revoked.
7 Schedule 3 amended—Road Safety Act 1986
(1) In item 9A.1 of Schedule 3 to the Principal
Regulations, for "174(1), 175(1), 184(2), 185(2),
185(3), 186(1) and 186(2)" substitute "174(1)
and 175(1)".

(2) Items 9A.1B and 9A.1C of Schedule 3 to the
Principal Regulations are revoked.
(3) In item 9A.9 of Schedule 3 to the Principal
Regulations, for "67(2), 81, 101(3), 101(4),
104(3), 105(2), 105(3) and 105(6)" substitute
"67(2) and 81".
(4) In item 9A.10 of Schedule 3 to the Principal
Regulations—
(a) omit "240(1),";
(b) omit "257(1), 258(1), 258(2), 259(1),".
8 New item 1D inserted into Schedule 4
After item 1C of Schedule 4 to the Principal
Regulations insert—
"1D Catchment and Land Protection Act 1994
1D.1 Sections 46(1), 47D(1), 47E(1), 70C
and 70D(1).".
9 Item 5 of Schedule 4 revoked
Item 5 of Schedule 4 to the Principal Regulations
is revoked.
10 New Schedule 4A inserted
After Schedule 4 to the Principal Regulations
insert—
