Justice Miscellaneous (Reporting Procedures) Act 2025
An Act to amend the Magistrates Court Act 1987 , the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 and the Supreme Court Civil Procedure Act 1932
[Royal Assent 16 June 2025]
Be it enacted by Her Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:
PART 1 - Preliminary
1.
Short title
This Act may be cited as the
Justice Miscellaneous (Reporting Procedures) Act 2025 .
2.
Commencement
The provisions of this Act commence on a day or days to be proclaimed.
3.
Repeal of Act
This Act is repealed on the first anniversary of the day on which the last uncommenced provision of this Act commenced.
PART 2 - Magistrates Court Act 1987 Amended
4.
The amendments effected by this Part have been incorporated into the authorised version of the
Magistrates Court Act 1987 .
5.

PART 3 - Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 Amended
