No. 74/2013 Infringements Act 2006 Infringements (General) Further Amendment Regulations 2013 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 25 June 2013 Responsible Minister: ROBERT CLARK Attorney-General MATTHEW McBEATH Acting Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Infringements (General) Regulations 2006 to— (a) prescribe certain bodies as enforcement agencies for the purposes of the Infringements Act 2006; and (b) prescribe certain infringement offences under the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Control of Use) Act 1992, the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012, the Conservation, Forests and Lands Act 1987, the Crown Land (Reserves) Act 1978, the Fisheries Act 1995, the Land Act 1958, the Land Conservation (Vehicle Control) Act 1972, the Major Sporting Events Act 2009, the National Parks Act 1975, the Royal Botanic Gardens Act 1991, the Sentencing Act 1991, the Water -- 2 of 78 -- S.R. No. 74/2013 Infringements (General) Further Amendment Regulations 2013 2 Authorised by the Chief Parliamentary Counsel Industry Act 1994 and the Wildlife Act 1975 as lodgeable infringement offences for the purposes of the Infringements Act 2006; and (c) omit references to certain redundant offences and legislation. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 168 of the Infringements Act 2006. 3 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2013. 4 Principal Regulations In these Regulations, the Infringements (General) Regulations 2006 1 are called the Principal Regulations. 5 Enforcement agencies (1) For item 8 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations substitute— "8. Each of the following within the Department of Transport, Planning and Local Infrastructure— (a) Director, Transport Safety within the meaning of the Transport Integration Act 2010; (b) Taxi Services Commission.". (2) In Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations— (a) in item 9(c), for "Victoria." substitute "Victoria;"; r. 2 -- 3 of 78 -- S.R.
