I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under
section 4(6) of the
Local Government Act 1993
. 25 November 2002 G. S. M. GREEN Governor By His Excellency's Command, J. G. COX Minister Assisting the Premier on Local Government
1.
Short title
This order may be cited as the
Local Government Order (No. 2) 2002 .
2.
Commencement
This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette .
3.
Principal Act
In this order, the
Local Government Act 1993
is referred to as the Principal Act.
4.
The amendment effected by this clause has been incorporated into the authorised version of the
Local Government Act 1993 .
Displayed and numbered in accordance with the
Rules Publication Act 1953 . Notified in the Gazette on 4 December 2002 This order is administered in the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
