No. 121/2013 Magistrates' Court Act 1989 Magistrates' Court (Fees) Amendment Regulations 2013 The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 1 October 2013 Responsible Minister: ROBERT CLARK Attorney-General YVETTE CARISBROOKE Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to make amendments to the Magistrates' Court (Fees) Regulations 2012 consequential upon the enactment of section 3 of the Road Safety and Sentencing Acts Amendment Act 2013. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 140 of the Magistrates' Court Act 1989. 3 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 October 2013. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 121/2013 Magistrates' Court (Fees) Amendment Regulations 2013 2 Authorised by the Chief Parliamentary Counsel 4 Scale of Fees—fees payable in criminal jurisdiction—applications under the Road Safety Act 1986 In Part 1 of the Schedule to the Magistrates' Court (Fees) Regulations 20121 — (a) in item 1.5, for "section 50(4) of the Road Safety Act 1986 for an order as to the issue of a drivers licence or permit" substitute "section 31B(1) of the Road Safety Act 1986 for a licence eligibility order under section 31H"; and (b) in item 1.6, for "section 50(4) of the Road Safety Act 1986 for an order under section 50(4D) reducing the period set out in section 50(4B)(a)" substitute "section 31B(1) of the Road Safety Act 1986 for an order under section 31D(2) reducing the period referred to in section 31D(3)". ═══════════════ r. 4 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
