Superannuation (Public Employees Portability) Regulation 2019
1 Short title
This regulation may be cited as the
Superannuation (Public Employees Portability) Regulation 2019 .
2 Commencement
This regulation commences on 1 September 2019.
3 Approved superannuation schemes— Act , s 4
For section 4 (1) of the Act , definition
approved superannuation scheme , paragraph (b), the following superannuation schemes are declared to be approved superannuation schemes— (a) Brighter Super participated in under the
Local Government Act 2009 ;
(b) Energy Super participated in under the
Electricity Act 1994 .

4 Prescribed matters for definition
public employment — Act , s 4
(1) For section 4 (1) of the Act , definition
public employment , paragraph (a), Queensland is prescribed.
(2) For section 4 (1) of the Act , definition
public employment , paragraph (b), the following authorities are prescribed— (a) a local government;
(b) a State electricity entity within the meaning of the
Electricity Act 1994 ;
(c) a university established under a law of a State.
