1 Short title
This regulation may be cited as the
Commissions of Inquiry (Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability—Quorum) Regulation 2019 .
2 Quorum for commission
A quorum for the commission established by letters patent gazetted on 28 June 2019 is— (a) its chairperson sitting alone; or
(b) its chairperson sitting with 1 or more of its other commissioners; or
(c) 2 or more of its other commissioners sitting together.
3 Acting chairperson
(1) This section applies if a quorum is formed under section 2 (c).
(2) The chairperson may appoint 1 of the other commissioners to act as the chairperson.
(3) The appointment may only be made before the other commissioners begin sitting.
