No. 100/2013 Marine (Domestic Commercial Vessel National Law Application) Act 2013 Marine (Domestic Commercial Vessel National Law Application) (Prescribed Information on Forms) Regulations 2013 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 30 July 2013 Responsible Minister: DAVID HODGETT Minister for Ports YVETTE CARISBROOKE Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe the information to be included in the form for the payment of fees for services in relation to domestic commercial vessels for the purposes of the Marine (Domestic Commercial Vessel National Law Application) Act 2013. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 21 of the Marine (Domestic Commercial Vessel National Law Application) Act 2013. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 100/2013 Marine (Domestic Commercial Vessel National Law Application) (Prescribed Information on Forms) Regulations 2013 2 Authorised by the Chief Parliamentary Counsel 3 Definitions In these Regulations— National Regulator has the same meaning as in the Marine (Domestic Commercial Vessel National Law Application) Act 2013; the Act means the Marine (Domestic Commercial Vessel National Law Application) Act 2013; and the Director, Transport Safety has the same meaning as in the Transport Integration Act 2010. 4 Prescribed information For the purposes of section 21(1)(a) of the Act, a form for the payment of a fee referred to in section 14 of the Act must include— (a) a statement that "This fee is charged in relation to a service provided under the Marine Safety (Domestic Commercial Vessel) National Law of the Commonwealth by the Director, Transport Safety as a delegate of the National Regulator (the Australian Maritime Safety Authority) toward the cost of the national system for domestic commercial vessels"; and (b) sufficient information to identify the nature of the service provided; and (c) details of the entity to which payment is to be made; and (d) a statement that payment is to be made to that entity for services provided by the Director, Transport Safety as a delegate of the National Regulator (the Australian Maritime Safety Authority). r. 3 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
