I make the following notice under
section 81(1) of the
Guardianship and Administration Act 1995
. 30 October 2014 DR. VANESSA GOODWIN Minister for Justice
1.
Short title
This notice may be cited as the
Guardianship and Administration (Corresponding Law) Notice 2014 .
2.
Commencement
This notice takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette .
3.
Corresponding law
The Mental Capacity Act 2005 of the United Kingdom is declared to be a corresponding law for the purposes of
section 81 of the
Guardianship and Administration Act 1995
. Displayed and numbered in accordance with the
Rules Publication Act 1953 . Notified in the Gazette on 5 November 2014 This notice is administered in the Department of Justice.
