(2) The commencement date stated in schedule 1 , column 3 for each code of practice mentioned in column 2 of the schedule is included for information purposes only. Note— Under section 44(5) of the Act, a code of practice expires 10 years after its commencement. 3A Amendment of codes of practice— Act , s 44 (1) If the entry in schedule 1 for a code of practice states that the code of practice has been amended by a ministerial instrument stated in the entry— (a) the code of practice was amended by the ministerial instrument stated in the entry; and (b) the inclusion of the amendment in schedule 1 is notice, for section 44 (2) of the Act , that the ministerial instrument stated in the entry amending the code of practice has been made by the Minister. (2) The date stated in schedule 1, column 2 for the amendment of a code of practice is included for information purposes only. Note— See section 44 (4) of the Act for the commencement of an instrument amending a code of practice. s 3A ins 2024 SL No. 235 s 5 4 Repeal of Electrical Safety (Codes of Practice) Notice 2013 The Electrical Safety (Codes of Practice) Notice 2013 , SL No. 276 is repealed. MI 2024 No. 2 means the ministerial instrument titled ‘Electrical Safety Amendment of Codes of Practice (No. 1) 2024’.
