Liquor Licensing (Infringement Notices) Regulations 2018
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the
Liquor Licensing Act 1990 . 18 June 2018 C. WARNER Governor By Her Excellency's Command, PETER GUTWEIN Treasurer
1.
Short title
These regulations may be cited as the
Liquor Licensing (Infringement Notices) Regulations 2018 .
2.
Commencement
These regulations take effect on 25 June 2018.
3.
Interpretation
In these regulations
Act
means the
Liquor Licensing Act 1990 .
4.
Offences under Act
For the purposes of
section 223
of the Act
(a) an offence under a section of the Act specified in column 2 of the table in
Schedule 1
is a prescribed offence; and
(b) the penalty specified in column 3 of that table in respect of that offence is the prescribed penalty for that offence.
5.
Offences under Liquor Licensing Regulations 2016
For the purposes of
section 223
of the Act
(a) an offence under a provision of the
Liquor Licensing Regulations 2016
specified in column 2 of the table in
Schedule 2
is a prescribed offence; and
(b) the penalty specified in column 3 of that table in respect of that offence is the prescribed penalty for that offence.
