Inland Fisheries (Protected Fish) Order 2019
I make the following order under
section 131(1) of the
Inland Fisheries Act 1995
. 30 August 2019 GUY BARNETT Minister for Primary Industries and Water
1.
Short title
This order may be cited as the
Inland Fisheries (Protected Fish) Order 2019 .
2.
Commencement
This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette .
3.
Interpretation
In this order
Act
means
Inland Fisheries Act 1995 ;
estuary perch
means fish of the species (Macquaria colonorum) .
4.
Protected fish
Estuary perch is declared to be protected fish for the purposes of the Act. Displayed and numbered in accordance with the
Rules Publication Act 1953 . Notified in the Gazette on 2 October 2019 This order is administered in the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment.
