Motor Accidents (Liabilities and Compensation) Amendment Regulations 2021
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the
Motor Accidents (Liabilities and Compensation) Act 1973 . 24 May 2021 C. WARNER Governor By Her Excellency's Command, MICHAEL DARREL JOSEPH FERGUSON Minister for Infrastructure and Transport
1.
Short title
These regulations may be cited as the
Motor Accidents (Liabilities and Compensation) Amendment Regulations 2021 .
2.
Commencement
These regulations take effect on the day on which the
Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Regulations 2021
commence.
3.
Principal Regulations
In these regulations, the
Motor Accidents (Liabilities and Compensation) Regulations 2020
are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4.
The amendment effected by this regulation has been incorporated into the authorised version of the
Motor Accidents (Liabilities and Compensation) Regulations 2020 .
Displayed and numbered in accordance with the
Rules Publication Act 1953 . Notified in the Gazette on 28 May 2021 These regulations are administered in the Department of State Growth.
