I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 14(8) of the
Fire Service Act 1979 . 29 November 2021 B. BAKER Governor By Her Excellency's Command, PETER GUTWEIN Minister for Police, Fire and Emergency Management
1.
Short title
This order may be cited as the
Fire Service Amendment Order 2021 .
2.
Commencement
This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette .
3.
Principal Act
In this order, the
Fire Service Act 1979
is referred to as the Principal Act.
4.
The amendment effected by this clause has been incorporated into the authorised version of the
Fire Service Act 1979 .
Displayed and numbered in accordance with the
Rules Publication Act 1953 . Notified in the Gazette on 8 December 2021 This order is administered in the Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management.
