Interstate Transfer (Community-based Sentences) (Corresponding Laws) Notice 2022
I make the following notice under
section 3(2) of the
Interstate Transfer (Community-based Sentences) Act 2009
. 3 March 2022 ELISE ARCHER Minister for Corrections
1.
Short title
This notice may be cited as the
Interstate Transfer (Community-based Sentences) (Corresponding Laws) Notice 2022 .
2.
Commencement
This notice takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette .
3.
Corresponding laws
The following are declared to be corresponding laws for the purposes of the
Interstate Transfer (Community-based Sentences) Act 2009 :
(a) the Community Based Sentences (Interstate Transfer) Act 2020 of Queensland;
(b) the Community Based Sentences (Interstate Transfer) Act 2015 of South Australia.
Displayed and numbered in accordance with the
Rules Publication Act 1953 . Notified in the Gazette on 23 March 2022 This notice is administered in the Department of Justice.
