Road Safety (Vehicles) Amendment (Taxi Services
Commission) Regulations 2013
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1 Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to amend the
Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 2009 to
include references to the Taxi Services
Commission.
2 Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 95 of
the Road Safety Act 1986.
3 Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on 1 July
2013.

4 Vehicle Standards Definitions
In clause 3 of Schedule 2 to the Road Safety
(Vehicles) Regulations 20091 —
(a) insert the following definition—
"Taxi Services Commission means the body
established under Division 3 of Part 5
of the Transport Integration Act
2010;";
(b) in the definition of transport enforcement
vehicle, for "or an employee in the
Department of Transport" substitute ", an
employee of the Department of Transport,
Planning and Local Infrastructure or a person
who is employed in the Taxi Services
Commission".
