NORTHERN TERRITORY OF AUSTRALIA KENBI LAND TRUST REGULATIONS 2023 As in force at 30 November 2023 Table of provisions 1 Title ................................................................................................... i 2 Commencement ............................................................................... i 3 Prescribed land................................................................................. i ENDNOTES -- 1 of 5 -- -- 2 of 5 -- NORTHERN TERRITORY OF AUSTRALIA ____________________ As in force at 30 November 2023 ____________________ KENBI LAND TRUST REGULATIONS 2023 Regulations under the Kenbi Land Trust Act 2011 1 Title These Regulations may be cited as the Kenbi Land Trust Regulations 2023. 2 Commencement These Regulations commence on the commencement of section 3 of the Kenbi Land Trust Act 2011. 3 Prescribed land (1) Subject to subregulation (2), for section 3 of the Act, definition prescribed land, paragraph (b), the following land is prescribed: (a) the land that, immediately before the commencement, is described as Section 241, Hundred of Bray, as delineated on approved survey plan S2011/196 lodged with the Surveyor-General, Darwin; (b) the land that, immediately before the commencement, is described as Section 244, Hundred of Bray, as delineated on approved survey plans LTO2021/042A, LTO2021/042B, LTO2021/042C and LTO2021/042D lodged with the Surveyor-General, Darwin; (c) the land that, immediately before the commencement, is described as Section 245, Hundred of Bray, as delineated on approved survey plans LTO2021/042A, LTO2021/042B, LTO2021/042C and LTO2021/042D lodged with the Surveyor-General, Darwin. (2) The prescribed land does not include any public road within the boundaries of the land described in subregulation (1)(a), (b) or (c) that, immediately before the commencement, is vested in the Territory, a service authority or a local government council. -- 3 of 5 -- Kenbi Land Trust Regulations 2023 ii (3) Subject to section 13(8) of the Act, the prescribed status of the land identified by subregulations (1) and (2) is not affected by a change in the section numbers or survey plan numbers for the land or a part of the land after Kenbi freehold title to the land has been granted to the Trust. Example for subregulation (3) If the Trust subdivides or consolidates the prescribed land, and the subdivision or consolidation changes the section numbers or survey plan numbers for the land or a part of the land, the subdivided land or the consolidated land continues to be prescribed land for section 3 of the Act.
