No. 138/2013 Victims of Crime Assistance Act 1996 Victims of Crime Assistance (Delegation) Regulations 2013 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 12 November 2013 Responsible Minister: ROBERT CLARK Attorney-General YVETTE CARISBROOKE Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe the maximum amount of an interim award of assistance that may be made by a delegate under the Victims of Crime Assistance Act 1996. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 72 of the Victims of Crime Assistance Act 1996. 3 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 15 December 2013. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 138/2013 Victims of Crime Assistance (Delegation) Regulations 2013 2 Authorised by the Chief Parliamentary Counsel 4 Revocation The following Regulations are revoked— (a) the Victims of Crime Assistance (Delegation) Regulations 20031 ; (b) the Victims of Crime Assistance (Delegation) Amendment Regulations 20082 . 5 Interim award of assistance by a delegate For the purposes of section 24(1A) of the Victims of Crime Assistance Act 1996, the prescribed amount is $5000. ═══════════════ r. 4 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
