No. 89/2012 Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012 Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Amendment Regulations 2012 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 28 August 2012 Responsible Minister: MICHAEL O'BRIEN Minister for Consumer Affairs MATTHEW McBEATH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Regulations 2012 to prescribe a value for the purposes of the definition of high value in the case of a motor vehicle under the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 232 of the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012. 3 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 September 2012. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R.
