No. 3/2012 Infringements Act 2006 Infringements (General) Amendment Regulations 2012 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 7 February 2012 Responsible Minister: ROBERT CLARK Attorney-General MATTHEW McBEATH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objectives The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Infringements (General) Regulations 2006— (a) to prescribe certain infringement offences under the Domestic Animals Act 1994, the Residential Tenancies Act 1997 and the Road Safety Act 1986 as lodgeable infringement offences for the purposes of the Infringements Act 2006; and (b) to revoke the expiry date contained in the Infringements (General) Regulations 2006. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 168 of the Infringements Act 2006. -- 2 of 5 -- S.R. No. 3/2012 Infringements (General) Amendment Regulations 2012 2 Authorised by the Chief Parliamentary Counsel 3 Principal Regulations In these Regulations, the Infringements (General) Regulations 2006 1 are called the Principal Regulations. 4 Regulation 43 revoked Regulation 43 of the Principal Regulations is revoked. 5 Schedule 3 amended (1) In item 1B.1 of Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations, for "12A," substitute "12A(1), 12A(2),". (2) In item 9.1 of Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations, for "56" substitute "56(1)". (3) In item 9.2 of Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations, after "Sections" insert "92C(1),". (4) In item 9.3 of Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations, after "Sections" insert "142D,". (5) After item 9.3 of Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations insert— "9.3A Sections 206E(2), 206I(1), 206K(1), 206N, 206O(1), 206T, 206U(1), 206U(2), 206U(3), 206ZH(1), 206ZR(1), 206ZS(1), 206ZX(1), 206ZX(2), 206ZX(3), 206ZZ(1), 206ZZH(2) and 206ZZH(3).". (6) In item 9.4 of Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations, for "264, 287, 295" substitute "264(1), 287(1), 295(a), 295(b), 295(c), 295(d), 295(e), 295(f)". (7) In item 9.5 of Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations, for "and 358(2)" substitute ", 358(2) and 358(3)". r. 3 -- 3 of 5 -- S.R. (9) In item 9.7 of Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations— (a) for "Section" substitute "Sections"; (b) after "382(2)" insert "and 389(2)". (10) In item 9.8 of Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations, for "425" substitute "425(1)". (11) After item 9.8 of Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations insert— "9.9 Sections 439C(2), 439D(2), 439F(1), 439F(2), 439G(3), 439H(2), 439I(1), 439I(2), 505(1), 505(2), 505(3) and 505(4).".
