No. 36/2012 Infringements Act 2006 Infringements (General) Further Amendment Regulations 2012 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 29 May 2012 Responsible Minister: ROBERT CLARK Attorney-General MATTHEW McBEATH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Infringements (General) Regulations 2006 to prescribe certain infringement offences under the Accident Towing Services Act 2007, the City of Melbourne Act 2001 and the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 as lodgeable infringement offences for the purposes of the Infringements Act 2006. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 168 of the Infringements Act 2006. 3 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 June 2012. -- 2 of 5 -- S.R. No. 36/2012 Infringements (General) Further Amendment Regulations 2012 2 Authorised by the Chief Parliamentary Counsel 4 Principal Regulations In these Regulations, the Infringements (General) Regulations 2006 1 are called the Principal Regulations. 5 New item 1AAA inserted into Schedule 3 After item 1 of Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations insert— "1AAA City of Melbourne Act 2001 1AAA.1 Section 19(2).". 6 New item 1C inserted into Schedule 3 After item 1B of Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations insert— "1C Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 1C.1 Sections 172, 173 and 176 of the Education and Care Services National Law (Victoria). 1C.2 Regulations 77(1), 77(2), 77(3), 80(1), 83(1), 83(2), 83(3), 86, 88(1), 89(1), 89(2), 97(4), 98, 104(1), 112(3), 177(2), 177(3), 178(2) and 178(3) of the Education and Care Services National Regulations made under the Education and Care Services National Law.". 7 Schedule 4 amended—Accident Towing Services Act 2007 (1) In item 1A.1 of Schedule 4 to the Principal Regulations— (a) after "9(1)," insert "9A,"; (b) after "98(1)," insert "98(1B),"; (c) after "146," insert "146A,"; (d) for "and 150(1)" substitute ", 150(1) and 150(1A)". r. 4 -- 3 of 5 -- S.R.
