Costs) Amendment Regulations 2012
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1 Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to amend the
Magistrates' Court (Arbitration) Regulations 2010
to increase the allowances for professional costs
that may be awarded to a party in respect of an
arbitration under Division 2 of Part 5 of the
Magistrates' Court Act 1989.
2 Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 140 of
the Magistrates' Court Act 1989.
3 Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on
1 January 2013.

4 Amendments to Schedule 3
In clause 1 of Schedule 3 to the Magistrates' Court
(Arbitration) Regulations 20101 —
(a) in paragraphs (a) and (c), for "$1307"
