Regulations 2012
The Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the
Minister for Energy and Resources, makes the following
Regulations:

1 Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to extend the
operation of the Mineral Resources Development
Regulations 2002, which would otherwise be
revoked by virtue of section 5(1) of the
Subordinate Legislation Act 1994, for the period
specified in regulation 3.
2 Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under sections 5A
and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.

3 Extension of operation
The operation of the Mineral Resources
Development Regulations 20021 is extended for
the period beginning on 22 October 2012 and
ending on 21 October 2013.
4 Expiry
These Regulations expire on 22 October 2013.
