No. 164/2012 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Parliamentary Allowances Regulations 2003) Extension Regulations 2012 The Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Premier, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 19 December 2012 Responsible Minister: TED BAILLIEU Premier MATTHEW McBEATH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Parliamentary Allowances Regulations 2003, which would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5(1) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994, for the period specified in regulation 3. 2 Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5A and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. 3 Extension of operation The operation of the Parliamentary Allowances Regulations 2003 1 is extended for the period beginning on 29 January 2013 and ending on 28 January 2014. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R.
