No. 53/2012 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Wildlife Regulations 2002) Extension Regulations 2012 The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council, on the recommendation of the Minister for Environment and Climate Change, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 18 June 2012 Responsible Minister: RYAN SMITH Minister for Environment and Climate Change YVETTE CARISBROOKE Acting Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Wildlife Regulations 2002, which would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5(1) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994, for the period specified in regulation 3. 2 Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5A and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. 3 Extension of operation The operation of the Wildlife Regulations 20021 is extended for the period beginning on 25 June 2012 and ending on 24 June 2013. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R.
