No. 97/2012 Supreme Court Act 1986 Supreme Court (Chapter I Amendment No. 34) Rules 2012 The Judges of the Supreme Court make the following Rules: 1 Object The object of these Rules is to amend Chapter I of the Rules of the Supreme Court to make it clear that the consent of all of the parties, whenever and however given, is sufficient to enable the Court of Appeal to be constituted by two Judges of Appeal. 2 Authorising provisions These Rules are made under section 25 of the Supreme Court Act 1986 and all other enabling powers. 3 Commencement These Rules come into operation on 3 September 2012. 4 Jurisdiction and powers exercisable by two Judges of Appeal In Rule 64.27(1)(c) of the Supreme Court (General Civil Procedure) Rules 20051 omit "have before the hearing filed a". -- 2 of 5 -- S.R.
