No. 21/2012 Transport Integration Act 2010 Transport Integration (Public Transport Development Authority) (Transition Facilitation) Regulations 2012 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 27 March 2012 Responsible Minister: TERRY MULDER Minister for Public Transport MATTHEW McBEATH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to facilitate the transition to the full conferral of functions and powers on the Public Transport Development Authority by amending references in the Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) Act 1983. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 203B of the Transport Integration Act 2010. 3 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 2 April 2012. -- 2 of 3 -- S.R. No. 21/2012 Transport Integration (Public Transport Development Authority) (Transition Facilitation) Regulations 2012 2 Authorised by the Chief Parliamentary Counsel 4 Delayed commencement of certain provisions Until the commencement of item 13.6 of Schedule 1 of the Transport Legislation Amendment (Public Transport Development Authority) Act 2011, any reference in sections 85A(a), 86(1) (in the definition of public commercial passenger vehicle), 89(2)(c), 141(5), 195, 196, 198(1), 199, 200, 201, 202, 203, 204, 213A(5) and 213A(6) of the Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) Act 1983 to the Director is to be construed as a reference to the Public Transport Development Authority. ═══════════════ r. 4 -- 3 of 3 --
