No. 88/2011 Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act 1981 Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances (Commonwealth Standard) Regulations 2011 The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 26 August 2011 Responsible Minister: DAVID DAVIS Minister for Health YVETTE VAN DONKELAAR Acting Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe the document that is the Commonwealth standard for the purposes of the Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act 1981. 2 Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 4(1) and 132 of the Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act 1981. -- 2 of 3 -- S.R. No. 88/2011 Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances (Commonwealth Standard) Regulations 2011 2 Authorised by the Chief Parliamentary Counsel 3 Commonwealth standard For the purposes of paragraph (b) of the definition of Commonwealth standard in section 4(1) of the Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act 1981, the current Poisons Standard within the meaning of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 of the Commonwealth, as in force from time to time, is prescribed to be the Commonwealth standard. ═══════════════ r. 3 -- 3 of 3 --
