STATUTORY RULES. 1932. No. 81. TREASURY REGULATIONS UNDER THE AUDIT ACT 1901-1926. I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following amendment of the Treasury Regulations under the Audit Act 1901-1926, to come into operation forthwith. A mendment of the T reasury R egulations U nder the A udit A ct 1901-1926. (Statutory Rules 1927, No. 158, as amended to this date.) Treasury Regulation No. 67 is amended by:— (1.) Omitting from sub-regulation ( a ) the words “Department of Works and Railways” and inserting in their stead the words “Works and Services Branch of the Department of the Interior”. (2.) Omitting sub-regulation ( e ) and inserting the following new sub-regulation:— ( e ) Purchases made by or under the authority of the Contract Board of the Department of Defence— (i) where the urgency for the purchase is such that, in the opinion of the Secretary of the Department of Defence, time would not permit of the calling for tenders or of obtaining the approval of the Governor-General in Council; (ii) where supplies are obtainable only from one source; or (iii) where there are more than one and not more than four suppliers able to furnish the supplies required.
