No. 160/2011 Infringements Act 2006 Infringements (General) Amendment (Further Lodgeable Infringement Offences) Regulations 2011 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 21 December 2011 Responsible Minister: ROBERT CLARK Attorney-General MATTHEW McBEATH Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Infringements (General) Regulations 2006 to prescribe certain infringement offences under the Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act 1981 as lodgeable infringement offences for the purposes of the Infringements Act 2006. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 168 of the Infringements Act 2006. 3 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2012. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 160/2011 Infringements (General) Amendment (Further Lodgeable Infringement Offences) Regulations 2011 2 Authorised by the Chief Parliamentary Counsel 4 Schedule 4 amended After item 3 of Schedule 4 to the Infringements (General) Regulations 20061 insert— "3A Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act 1981 3A.1 Sections 80U(1), 80U(2), 80U(3), 80V(1), 80V(2), 80V(3), 80W(1), 80W(2), 80W(3) and 80X.". ═══════════════ r. 4 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
